The statue of Tutankhamun





 The statue of Tutankhamun dates back to the 18th Dynasty (1332-1323 B.C.) and depicts the young king seated and wearing the royal crown. Carved from limestone, it symbolizes the king's youthful reign and his brief rule over Egypt. The statue was discovered in Tutankhamun’s tomb in the Valley of the Kings, Luxor. It is currently housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The statue is tied to the famous discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb by Howard Carter in 1922, one of the most significant archaeological finds in history.
