The Statue of Nectanebo II is a royal Egyptian sculpture from the late 30th Dynasty, dating back to around 360 BCE. It is made of granite, a common material used for monumental statues in ancient Egypt. The statue represents Nectanebo II, the last native ruler of Egypt
before the Persian conquest, symbolizing his authority and divine kingship. It was discovered at the Temple of Amun in the Karnak area. Today, it is located at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The statue reflects the artistic style of the later period, with realistic features and detailed clothing, highlighting the ruler’s significance.
