The statue is carved from limestone, showcasing the artistic skills of the period. It was found in multiple locations, including his pyramid complex in Saqqara. A version of the statue is displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The statue represents the long reign of Pepi II, symbolizing stability during the Old Kingdom, despite the challenges of his lengthy rule.
