 The Statue of King Senusret I dates back to the 12th Dynasty (circa 1971-1926 BCE) during the Middle Kingdom. It depicts the king standing firmly, wearing the royal kilt and the southern crown, symbolizing his authority. The statue is crafted from finely polished black granite, showcasing advanced artistic techniques of the era. It was discovered near his pyramid complex at Lisht. Currently, it is displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The statue represents stability and power, reflecting the prosperous reign of Senusret I and his significant contributions to architecture and administration.
