 The statue of Merneptah dates back to the 19th Dynasty (1213-1203 B.C.) and depicts the king standing, wearing the royal crown. Carved from granite, it symbolizes the king's strength and military successes in defending Egypt. The statue was discovered in the Karnak Temple in Luxor. It is currently displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The statue is linked to Merneptah’s "Campaign of Merneptah," which recorded his victories over the Sea Peoples in the famous inscription.
