The Amenhotep II statue dates back to the 18th Dynasty (around 1427-1401 B.C.) and depicts the king standing, wearing the royal crown. Carved from granite, it symbolizes royal power and the stability Amenhotep II maintained during his reign. The statue was discovered in Karnak Temple in Luxor. It is currently displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Amenhotep II is known for his military prowess and for maintaining Egypt's dominance and prosperity during his rule.
