Early-mid 14th century BC) was an ancient Egyptian architect, a priest, a herald, a scribe, and a public official, who held a number of offices under Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty.It is believed that Amenhotep, son of Hapu, died in the 31st year of the reign of Tibetan Mohetep III. It was found in the tomb of Ra-Musa. After his death, his fame and reputation as a teacher and wise man began to increase and with it the Egyptians’ veneration of him increased until he was raised to the rank of gods in the Ptolemaic era and became the god of healing.
