The Statue of Seti I
The Statue of Seti I dates back to the 19th Dynasty (around 1290-1279 B.C.) and depicts the king standing, wearing the royal crown and traditional regalia. Carved from granite, it symbolizes Seti I's power and military achievements in the eastern campaigns. The statue was discovered in Abydos Temple. It is currently displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Seti I is known for restoring Egypt’s glory and securing its borders. The statue reflects his significant role in solidifying the rule of the 19th Dynasty
