 The Statue of Ramesses III 



 The Statue of Ramesses III dates back to the 20th Dynasty (around 1186-1155 B.C.) and depicts the king standing, wearing the royal crown and traditional regalia. Carved from granite, it symbolizes the king's strength and leadership during a time of military conflict and economic challenges. The statue was found in Medinet Habu, near Luxor. It is currently displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Ramesses III is famous for defending Egypt against invasions, particularly from the Sea Peoples. The statue reflects his military victories and efforts to maintain Egypt's prosperity.
