The Statue of Amenemhat II dates back to the 12th Dynasty (around 1929-1895 B.C.) and depicts the king seated on his throne with a calm and composed expression, wearing the white crown of Upper Egypt. Carved from limestone, the statue reflects the king’s wisdom and royal authority. It was discovered in the tomb of Amenemhat II at Lisht. The statue is currently displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. It symbolizes stability and the internal peace that marked his reign, highlighting his leadership during the Middle Kingdom period.
